In existence since 1994 and currently employing close to 250 employees in twelve registered offices.
API has been mostly specialized in electrical, hard goods and toy inspections (household, audio, lightening, outdoor and indoor furniture). Originally a subsidiary of Parisot Asia Pacific, in June 2002, API experienced a well-executed Management-Buy-Out whereby employees working in API ended up owning a majority of the equity capital (67.5% by year-end 2005).
Since the takeover, API’s strategy and ambitious has been to be able to offer a complete seamless scope service from preproduction compliance testing all the way down to loading supervision for non textile and non food consumer products. In the pursuit of this goal, API branched out into the lab testing field in January 2004. In addition to enlarging our range of services, this diversification has gone a long way towards bringing more technical expertise from the lab downstream towards the inspection.

Today, client base is mainly European retailers and importers, major clients are: Carrefour Gloubal Sourcing Asia, Auchan, Leroy Merlin.
