Recently, the demand for personal computers in Russia keeps on a stable high level, so for a lot of domestic manufacturers (for example "Akvarius", "CompuLink" or Rostov company “Electronic components") economically justified becomes the organization of conveyor assembly of computer facilities which raises quality of finished articles and considerably reduces a share of manual skills during assembly.

The automatic transfer line for manufacture of office application computers includes assembly conveyor, sites of testing and packing. On the pallet, moving along the transporter, runs the mechanical assembly of a computer. After assembly is complete there goes drivers and the test version of operational system installation. After the assembly computers passes 24 hour tests in the chamber of the temperature control under the conditions close to extreme, and are packed in an automatic mode.

The range of variants for assembly lines construction is great enough. For example, the most simple line represents the simple tape conveyor, length 30m. On both sides of the conveyor there are workplaces on which workers sit and carry out assembly of cases. At such organization of technological process two variants are possible:
- At conveyor speed of 0,5-2,5m/min during the assembly, continuous movement of the conveyor is quite allowable, products bodies gradually move to the end of the conveyor, where proceed to output;
- At conveyor speed of higher than 2,5?/mines, the conveyor should work using pulsing mode. For this purpose either push-button posts for technological stop are established at each workplace, or the conveyor is automatically turns off and on in a certain time intervals.

In both cases it is possible to provide smooth adjustment of speed using variator, or frequency converter.
